MGED 4020 - Instructional Strategies & Monitoring This course examines the concepts, theories and research that support effective instruction. A primary focus of this course will be the composition of developmentally appropriate strategies and assessments. Middle level candidates in this course will work on creating inquiry- based strategies that motivate students to learn. In addition, candidates will assess their own performance and impact on the instructional process.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education Program, MGED 3010, MGED 3015, MGED 3020, MGED 3115, MGED 3130, READ 3040, SPED 3100, and content coursework with a grade of C or higher, and field placements
Corequisites: MGED 4010 and MGED 4015
