MUAP 2630 - Major Applied Brass A continuation of MUAP 1630 focusing on the development of artistic ability. Emphasis is given to the development of brass performance abilities through the study of standard repertoire. A combination of individual (50-minute lesson) and group (studio/master class) instruction provides preparation for public performance. Repertoire and other requirements increase with credit hours. Each student who is enrolled for major applied brass instruction must concurrently participate fully in a major UNG instrumental performance ensemble, regardless of whether the student chooses to enroll for ensemble credit. A student may accumulate a maximum of 6 credit hours in this course.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: Completion of 2 hours of MUAP 1630 with a grade of C or higher
