MGMT 4642 - Procurement and Supply Management

A study of the management of the business purchasing function, including supplier selection and development, quality control, cost management, and performance measurement in a global marketplace. Part of the course will include presentation of some theories and practices of negotiation in organizational settings. This course helps students to better comprehend the various supply management decisions required to effectively contribute to organizational strategies.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
Prerequisites: Admission to Upper Division, MGMT 3661, and BUSA 3120 with grades of C or higher
