HLTH 3151 - Electronic Health Records Usability & User Centered Design This course covers the role of human factors, usability, and user centered design in healthcare. Presents the impact of clinical information system design and usability on risk for medical errors and the impact of usability on quality of care. Students will evaluate usability testing methods appropriate for the type of healthcare setting and user characteristics along with system redesign to improve usability.
