NURS 4804 - Nursing Care of the Pediatric Client This course encompasses the nursing care of families as they experience childrearing. The physiologic, psychosocial and cultural factors which influence the individual’s and family’s responses to health and illness are emphasized. Evidence-based nursing interventions that support normal growth and development of the child and family, as well as the nursing care of the child experiencing common health problems are addressed. The concepts of caring, ethics, and creation of a safe environment are integrated.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: NURS 3502 and NURS 3705
